Following the recent single "Alien Opera "/ "Through The Universe", Lionel Weets delivers his debut artist album for Motech with "Stellar Orchestra". Techno and house producer, Lionel Weets hails from Belgium and yet his style is clearly influenced by Detroit techno with its deep, soulful and melodic sound, plus that additional funky touch.
This weeks show is Motech Records new signee Lionel Weets! His debut EP on motech Alien Opera will be released March 24th along with his album May 12th.
Following on from P-Ben’s ‘Half Life’ double header released in February on Motech Records, DJ 3000’s label heads to another new signing in March with two tracks by Lionel Weets, taken from his forthcoming debut album, ‘Stellar Orchestra’.
Lionel Weets is a Belgian techno and house producer.
Even though he comes from Belgium, Lionel’s style has been clearly influenced by
Detroit Techno and can be described as deep, soulful, and melodic with a funky touch.
